Robbins Trucking Limited began in 1978 as a division of C. Robbins & Son, operating with a one-ton Ford F350 transporting fresh cod from Lumsden to Beothic Fish Processors, in Valleyfield, NL.  The trucking company owned and operated by Milton and Marven Robbins advanced to flatbed trucks in the early 1980s.  With Milton's and Marven's foresight, determination, and dedication, Robbins Trucking Limited was incorporated on December 31, 1987.  With encouragement from the late Boyd Way, owner of Beothic Fish Processors, the first road tractor/trailer was purchased in the spring of 1988.

Since then, the Company has grown to include a Transport fleet of 17 road tractors, 40 trailer units(refrigerated and dry vans), 6 highbeds, 2 lowbeds, and a drop deck.  As well, the Company has a Construction division which include 2 tandem dump trucks, an escavator, a loader, and a gravel screening plant.

Today, Robbins Trucking Limited is owned and operated with Christopher (Milton's son) and Stephen (Marven's son) taking the lead in dispatching, decision making, and the overall running of everyday business.  Milton and Marven are actively involved and greatly contributing in the everyday business transactions but in a somewhat lesser role.

This Company has extended its transportation service to include all of the Atlantic Provinces, including Quebec. We are proud to boast that Robbins Trucking Limited realize that every customer and their different transportation needs are of utmost importance!
